This site is operated by Mike Gebert (see Imprint). We process the minimum personal data required to respond to your enquiries and to operate the site.

Hosting

The site is hosted on a virtual private server provided by netcup GmbH (Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany), located in a German data centre.

Contact form

When you submit the contact form on /contact, the data you enter (name/company, email, message) is sent via SMTP from a mail server hosted on the same German VPS to sailing@anumi.eu. No third-party email-delivery provider is involved. We use the data only to reply to your enquiry and retain it for up to 12 months unless a customer relationship arises.

Anti-spam (ALTCHA)

To protect the form against abuse, we use ALTCHA, a self-hosted, privacy-friendly anti-bot mechanism. Your browser solves a cryptographic proof-of-work challenge that is generated and verified directly on our own German VPS. ALTCHA uses no cookies, no tracking and no fingerprinting, and transmits no data to any third party. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in preventing spam).

Analytics (Umami, self-hosted)

We use a self-hosted instance of Umami running on the same German VPS to measure visit counts and aggregate page popularity. Umami is cookieless and does not collect personal data: no IP is stored long-term, no profiles are built, no cross-site tracking. Because no personal data is processed for tracking, no consent banner is required.
